‘Amaechi, Pace Setter’
President and Founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, says, Rivers State governor, Rt. the Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has set the pace in the country for other governors to emulate.
Apostle Suleiman made the commendation at a special thanksgiving service to commemorate the 15 years Anniversary of his church in Auchi, Edo State.
Suleiman remarked that Governor Amaechi had distinguished himself among his colleagues through his service to God and humanity.
He noted that Governor Amaechi’s drive to parley with, and bring dividends of democracy to the common man in Rivers state has increased his respect for the governor.
According to him, “I have known Governor Amaechi for some time, he is a friend. There are personal things in his life that I cherish so much, his ability to respect friends and his fear and respect for God is what increased my respect for him”.
“It is very rate to see a man of is status relating freely with people the way Amaechi is doing. He is a man of all people and a man who believes in God. I wish other governors would emulate him”, he said.
Addressing the congregation, Governor Chibuike Amaechi urged Christians to be good ambassadors of Christ, stressing that faith and trust are key to the success of a Christian.
“For you to excel in your Christian race you need to have faith, and trust in the Lord”, he said. “for me, I have benefited from God through my faith and prayers to Him; I hope you would also benefit from God.
He congratulated the church for its 15 years anniversary, adding that, “while we celebrate, we should also have the fear of God in our lives and trust Him and do that which He commended us to do. For me, I must first and foremost worship my god before any other thing”, he said.
