Monarch Hails Wike On Award In Projects Delivery
The people of Obonoma community in the Akuku-Toru Local Government Area have congratulated the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike on his conferment of the Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery at the Nigerian Excellence in Public Service Award by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, yesterday.
In a statement issued on behalf of the community today, the Amayanabo of Obonoma community and her territory, His Majesty King Ene Dateme-Obonogina, KSC, JP, Obonogina 1X, said the award is a clear testimony that the numerous landmark projects executed by Governor Wike across the length and breathe of Rivers State remain unprecedented.
King Ene Dateme-Obonogina described Governor Wike as a nationally acclaimed achiever whose dexterity in the delivery of legacy projects within the period of his administration has attracted this great presidential approval as the best Governor in projects delivery.
King Dateme-Obonogina specifically commended Governor Wike for including the Obonoma people as beneficiary of his laudable projects with the execution of the Abonnema-Obonoma bridge, the Abonnema-Obonoma land reclamation project and the ring road serving the two communities.
He said Governor Wike who is popularly known as Mr. Quality Project, has indeed earned himself a place of honour as a visionary leader in the history of Rivers State and Nigeria.
