Ayim Commissions Rumuekini-Aluu Road, Tuesday
The Rivers State Government has disclosed plans to unveil the Rumuekini-Aluu Road, constructed by the Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, Monday, indicated that the former Senate President, Ayim Pius Ayim, will perform the commissioning of the project.
The statement reads, “Rumekini-Aluu Road traversing Obio/Akpor and Ikwerre Local Government Areas will be commissioned tomorrow, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11a.m.
“The former Senate President and Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator Ayim Pius Ayim will be the Special Guest of Honour while Governor Nyesom Wike will serve as Chief Host.
“Citizens and residents of the two local governments are enjoined to turn out en masse to participate at the ceremony.
“Please, note that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the event.”
