Provost Tasks Community Leaders On Peace
The Provost of Rivers State College of Health Science and Technology, Associate Prof Godwin Nlenum has called on all leaders of Oro-Owu Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State to live in peace, unity and love.
Prof Nlenum made the call during the end of-year celebration organised by the community, stating that it would be difficult for any person or entity to develop without peace and unity.
He advised the four leaders who represented the four families of the community to ensure that they strived for peace and love always.
“Make sure peace, love and unity reign among you, because united we stand, divided we fall, unity brings progress and development in the community”, he said.
Furthermore, Prof Nlenum assured the youths of the community of proper assistance in the education sector, stating that he would help them gain admission into different colleges and institutions of study.
Responding Chairman of Oro-Owo Community, Comrade Amadi ThankGod, appreciated the provost for assistance towards the community and ensuring that the youths were given proper development.
Comrade ThankGod futher asked the people of the community to continue to work together in order to move them forward and assured them of his preparedness to serve them whole heartedly.
