Perm Sec Commends NIPR
The Permanent Secretary Cross River State, Ministry of Power, Sir Denis Utang has adjudged the state council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) the most proactive and efficient in the country.
Utang gave this commendation when the chairman and executive members of the state council of the institute paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Calabar, noting that the institute has been able to reach out to relevant authorities in its bid to stay afloat.
The Permanent Secretary thanked the institute for their visit and kind words of encouragement and promised to continue to identify with the ideas and programmes of the institute as much as possible.
He described the institute as his primary public expressed delight at the visit stating that it will go a long way to boost his moral.
Earlier in her presentation, the State Chairman, of the State Chapter of the Nigerian Institution of Public Relations (NIPR) Mrs. Offiong Ani Offiong congratulated Sir, Denis Utang on his recent elevation and appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Power.
According to the State Chairman, Ntunkae (Mrs.) Offiong Ani Offiong, Sir Usang’s appointment is in recognition of his extraordinary track record of achievements in the media and communication sector as well as his commitment, professionalism and excellence displayed towards effective service delivery.
Mrs. Offiong urged the Permanent Secretary to remain committed and keep the flag of NIPR flying adding that his appointment should steer him to render greater service to the Government and people of Cross River State.
