Better Life For Rivers People, Heartbeat Of RSG – Banigo
The Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the heartbeat of Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration is to better the lives of Rivers people through the execution of people-oriented projects.
Banigo stated this while speaking at the annual harvest and thanksgiving service of the City of Favour Ministry, Agbon-Nchia in Eleme Local Government Area.
She noted that God has called them at this point in time to wipe away the tears and agony faced by Rivers people over the years, and assured that their hope would be restored.
The deputy governor, who emphasized the importance of good health to the people, said it was based on the policy trust of the New Rivers Vision on health that informed its decision to embark on the rehabilitation of 10 general hospitals in the state, including the Eleme General Hospital.
“Health is important to this administration; that is why we have flagged-off the rehabilitation of Eleme General Hospital and reconstruction of some internal roads within the local government,” Banigo stated.
Banigo said although the state was presently facing some challenges, there was hope that glorious things will happen in the state, and enjoined the church to sustain its prayers for the government to ensure God’s divine intervention in the affairs of the state.
In his exhortation, the General Overseer of City of Favour Ministry, Prophet Edor Norbert Ekobo, commended Governor Nyesom Wike for building his administration on God’s foundation.
Ekobo said the peace and aggressive infrastructural development in the state was due to the fact that the government is anchored on divine principles.
