PH Passengers React To Aero Flights Suspension
Passengers at the Port
Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, on Thursday expressed mixed feelings over the suspension of Aero Contractors airline operations.
Some of the passengers who spoke with The Tide on the development opined that they were surprised by the sudden suspension of the airlines operations.
They explained that Aero Airline had been their choice airline in term of safety and that their approaching the airport on Thursday was to book for ticket from the airline for their journey but were disappointed.
Victor Owhor, one of the customers to Aero said he was not aware that such a thing would happen, pointing out that he came to book for the flight but that he just heard that their operations have been suspended.
Speaking further, Owhor said that he would have to opt for another airline.
On her part, Lady Anthonia Wele said news of the Aero flight suspension was a surprise to her, because her intension was to patronize the airline that fateful day.
According to Wele, she was almost embarrassed when she wanted to buy ticket, but was told that flight operations had been suspended due to operational reasons.
Meanwhile, one of the users of the airport, Eric Orlu, posited that he had long expected that Aero airlines operation will be suspended because of the difficulties it has been having.
