LMC Sanctions Wolves, Ifeanyi Ubah For Violence

Warri Wolves and FC IfeanyiUbah have been sanctioned for various crowd trouble incidents.
Wolves will play their next three home games behind closed doors.
They have also been fined a million Naira for pitch encroachment during their home game against Wikki Tourists and they will also pay additional 750,000 Naira of other breaches as well as 1,250,000 Naira for attack on match officials and compensation for the items they lost during the attacks which were carried on to their hotel.
A suspended two-points deduction has been ordered on Wolves subject to good conduct for the remainder of the season.
IfeanyiUbah were also fined 750,000 Naira after the referee for their home game versus Sunshine Stars was also attacked right up to his hotel.
The Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) have already threatened to boycott league matches following what they described as renewed attacks on their members at match venues.
