Dickson called for collaboration with youth bodies in the state, towards managing the affairs of students as well as checking the acts of cultism.
The governor described youths as future leaders, noting that it was imperative to incorporate students’ bodies into the activities of the government to enable them be abreast of the political and socio-economic issues.
“We need to work together and manage our processes of government and the way we carry out our collective businesses so that our society can get out of this crisis.
“I want a situation where students and the youth population in general are not misinformed.
“As future leaders, I want them to understand the real issues that government and other leaders have to deal with,’’ he stressed.
Chairman of the Committee, Mr Ebipatei Apaingolo, assured that the members would live up to expectation.
“On behalf of our members, we thank you, the governor for the opportunity you have given to us to serve; I promise to deliver on the mandate,” he said.
