Dubai Tourism Road Show Holds In PH, Today
The Dubai Tourism Board
in cooperation with the Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Market is to hold a road show today in Port Harcourt to educate and create opportunity for Nigerian travelers with various products including developing Nigerian tourism.
The Regional Director, Africa International Operations, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and commence Marketing, Stella Fubara Obinwa who disclosed this in Port Harcourt said the road show 2016 is a product event where Dubai companies bring several Dubai products to Nigeria in the hope of educating travelling professionals in Nigerian about all that the Arab country can offer.
Obinwa said the event will also create a direct relationship with travel professionals within Nigeria and business executives in Dubai to exchange ideas and discuss on how to develop their economy.
According to her, ‘’ some of the companies expected to participate in the event include Emirate Airline, Dubai Properties, East Dubai Resort and all these entities offer products for any in travelers’’.
“If Nigerian travel professionals know these business entities, it will help them create more opportunities for both countries in the business environment. The participants have a lot to benefit because they will meet these companies and benefit from their products in Dubai’’, she noted.
She said those expected at the forum are travel agencies, and other business organizations that involves doing business outside the country and airlines especially Nigerian airlines that fly internationally.
Obinwa said the road show is not focusing on Nigeria alone but other African countries, noting that 10 African countries are holding the Road show today at the same time in different cities.
‘’ We try to create an awareness plan and it consists of destination promo and it involves, Kenya, Angola, South Africa, Tanzania, Ruwanda etc’’, she said.
