Gov’s Wife Harps On Workers’ Core Values
Wife of the Governor
of Cross River State, Dr. Linda U. Ayade, has stressed the need for staff of her office to exhibit core values to guide them in the discharge of their duties.
Dr. Ayade gave the charge while declaring open a two-day in-house orientation/ training workshop organised for members of staff in her office.
The training workshop had as it theme “Together, Every one Achieves More”.
The Cross River State First Lady of the state listed the core values to include purpose, trust, responsibility, integrity and communication.
According to her, it is who you are and what you have to offer as an individual that really counts”. She, therefore, enjoined all the staff to be focused on their jobs and also take responsibility for their actions, stressing the need for them to work as a team to achieve corporal goals.
Dr. Ayade also commended the resource persons drawn from the various departments, for a job well done. In addition, she highlighted that the orientation/training workshop served as an opportunity for team building among the staff, while appreciating the members of staff for participating in the training.
The training witnessed papers on protocol, security, safety-(fire prevention, protection strategies and first aid), administration, communication, time management, registry amongst others.
In a vote of thanks, Mr. Inyang Inyang Ofem, Personal Assistant ( P.A) to the wife of the Governor on logistics, expressed thanks and appreciation to the First Lady, adding that the time spent had not been a waste.
