Group Honours DPO With Award

The Coalition of Supporters of Democracy and Good Governance in Rivers State, has presented an Award of Excellence to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Special Area Police Station, Rumuodomaya in Port Harcourt, CSP Henrietta Eboka.
Presenting the award to the DPO recently in her office, the Coordinator of the group, Comrade Gershon Bobmanuel Achor said the presentation of the award to the female police officer was necessitated by the sheer fact that she is hard working and intelligent and places her job above personal interest and any other considerations.
Achor indicated that the award is intended to motivate her, commend her hard work and proficiency in the security network she has put in place to make life difficult for criminal elements in the area.
While accepting the award, CSP Henrietta Eboka thanked the group for finding her worthy of such recognition and honour, and promised to continue to discharge her duties with a sense of responsibility.
She solicited for the continuous support and cooperation of members of the public to the police, stressing that the police would not be able to accomplish much in the fight against criminality without the support of the people.
