Unite For Progress, Monarch Tells Kinsmen
The paramount Ruler of Umusia Community in Oyigbo Local Government Area, Eze Sunday Ojijiagwo, has asked his people to unite and love one another since there can be no meaningful development without unity.
Ojijiagwo gave the advice during the end of year dedication/gathering held in his palace at Oyigbo recently.
He also cautioned those impersonating his position to desist so as not to fall foul of the law.
In his address, Chairman of the occassion, Chief Sunny Nwoko, gave God the glory for seeing them through another year and reiterated the warning by Eze Ojijiagwo.
Nwoko also highlighted some of the achievements by the executives of Umusia leadership and went ahead to highlight his projection for 2023.
Secretary of the community, Hon. Levi Nwachukwu, also urged those impersonating Eze Ojijiagwo’s stool to consider all he has done for the people.
Such achievements, he said, included peace and unity of the community.
The highlight of the occasion was dedication of the Community by Rev. Chijioke Nwachukwu.
Those at the occasion included a former Secretary of Oyigbo Council and the Treasurer of Umusia Community, Comrade Onyekachi Obere, one of the special advisers to the LGA chairman, Hon. Kins Okorie.
Earlier, the monarch had warned against any form of crime and charged the people on the need to live harmoniously.
