INEC Devolves PVC Collection To Registration Areas/Wards
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Rivers State, says it has developed the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to specific Registration Areas/Wards, beginning from today (Friday, January 6, 2023) till Sunday.
A statement signed by the Head of Department (HOD), Voter Education and Publicity, Mr. Mark Usulor, for the State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), said after Sunday, collection of PVCs will revert to INEC LGA offices from the16th to 22nd January 2023.
According to the statement, “those that are unable to collect their PVCs at the LGA offices of the Commission can do so at the Registration Areas/Wards”.
It continued that, “we, therefore, wish to appeal to all stakeholders to provide a peaceful and enabling environment for our staff to successfully discharge this exercise at the 319 Registration Areas/Wards in Rivers State, within the stipulated period”.
