Seven Ships With PMS, Containers, Others Expected At Eastern Ports Today
Seven ships laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and container loads of cargoes are expected to arrive and berth at different terminals today, at Eastern Ports to discharge cargoes.
The Ships’ manifest and cargoes were contained in the Weekly Shipping Position Magazine published by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and copy made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt.
NPA said the seven ships were expected to arrive three Eastern Ports today to discharge their cargoes
According to the Authority’s Shipping Positions, the ships are expected to arrive at Rivers Port Complex, Warri Port, and Calabar Port.
It stated that the said ships are laden with PMS, Vehicle Containers and General Cargoes, Float Glass, Containers, and Inballast.
Vessels for Rivers Port Complex are Riser Anne, Elizabeth G Spirit and Diddi, while vessels for Onne and Calabar Ports are Value Tyler Maersk Cabinda, Fair Partner and African Marvel
The Shipping Agents are Akathon, Amco, and White Waters for Rivers Port Complex
Kach Maritime, Hull Blyth, Maersk Nig Limited, and Red Transport are for Onne and Calabar Ports.
The publication noted that the arrival of the vessels and cargoes will make petroleum products more available to consumers.
The arrival would also enhance maritime activities and improve trade and commerce in the subregion
