He stated further that there cannot be Total Energies without the Niger Delta region, noting that if they did not have the needed support from the media, Total Energies would not have prospered beyond the Niger Delta region.
“You guys, the media received us that is why in May this year, we will be marking our 60 years offspring in Nigeria, today we are the only IOC that is still standing tall, we have continued to demonstrate fame in Nigeria.
“Total Energies is number one when it comes to building Nigerian content, we don’t let down people from our host communities where we operate. Total has been a friend of the NUJ from time,” Ebereonwu added.
He promised to conveyed the message and demands made by the NUJ leadership to their management team in Lagos

Stanley thanked Total Energies for providing State Secretariat of NUJ with a Generator set which is still being enjoyed till date.
The NUJ boss noted that this singular act of Total Energies caring and giving the media its pride of place is the reason why they stand tall among others.

He reminded the team of the need to give approval to some of the union’s demands to sponsor training programmes for Energy reporters as well as few others from selected media houses.
