Remains Of Late Madam Chuku Laid To Rest
The remains of Late Madam Lovelyn Nnenda Chuku, have been laid to rest at her home town, Eneka in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
The deceased was the mother of Barrister Vincent Chuku.
Speaking during the funeral ceremony, Barrister Chuku who was the chief mouner said his late mother was responsible for the height he has attained in the society.
According to him, his late mother laid a foundation for his success in life.
“Infact, my mother made it possible for me to go to school.
She had a very strong view on education.
Barrister Chuku, who is the Head of Chimzi Law Firm, Port Harcourt also described his late mum as God-fearing and great achiever.
“My late mum was a great achiever, indeed, she was a very strong, brave and fearless woman.
“Again, she was a great farmer and a talented mum,” he said.
Chuku said the family will sustain the legacy left behind by their mother.
Also speaking, Chairman Community Development Committee (CDC), Eneka, Comrade Charles Woko said the deceased was a mother to all in the community.
Woko described late Madam Nnenda as God-fearing and dedicated Christian.
He noted that her uprightness was responsible for her longevity.
We are here not only to pay our last respect to Late Madam Chuku but also to celebrate her good work and contributions to humanity.
Also speaking, Chairman, Community Development Committee (CDC) Rumueza, Eneka Sir, Joel Akah said Late Madam Chuku was a mother to all children in the community.
Akah said the large turnout for the burial was on indication of her friendly disposition to all people in the area.
