Rivers Angels Host FC Robo In Port Harcourt
Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt says it is set to welcome their Lagos State visitors, FC Robo today, in one of the week two fixtures of the ongoing 2021/2022 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL)
The match which is scheduled to hold at the University of Port Harcourt (UINIPORT) Football Pitch, Choba, is expected to be exciting, as the hosts moved to secure a win in today’s encounter.
The Jewels of Rivers have promised to leave no stone unturned, as they are determined to achieve their immediate goal. The Angels are no easy nut to crack, especially, with their teeming fans, on their home ground too, they are poised to put smiles on the faces of their fans.
On the other hand, their opponents who have come visiting for a battle, will also do their best to carry the day or at least, share points with their hosts, they will break the defence of the homers, if they must, to ensure that they did not leave empty handed.
The visitors would do all they could to snatch the three points at stake in today’s match, but the Angels are in high spirit and to record a win considering their result last week in their opening match with Delta Queens of Adaba.
It would be recalled that the Jewels of Rivers played a goalless draw with their host, Delta Queens at the Township Stadium, Asaba.
While their opponent, FC Robo recorded a 2-0 win against their Visitors, Abia Angels of Aba in their opening game at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos.
