Old Boys Condole Deceased Principal’s Family
The Sancta Maria High School, Omoku (SAMAHISCO) Old Boy Association, yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Principal, Elder Isaac Okechukwu Izeogu, who passed on recently in Port Harcourt in the course of a brief illness.
Speaking during the visit at his residence in Port Harcourt, The National President of the association, Elder Ojas Ellah described the deceased as a man of noble character with passionate commitment to education and discipline.
He said that the Late Izeogu had the willingness to help those in need, just as he was an inspiration to aspiring leaders, a devoted Christian with
genuine respect for the family values and a father indeed, a colossus, priceless gift and blessing to mankind.
Taking cognisance of the invaluable roles he played in the service of God and humanity, the association noted that the late Principal was an outstanding scholar and accomplished educationist who put smiles on the faces of many that came his way, including students, adding that his legacies would stand the test of time and for generations.
According to the association, the Late Izeogu was a father to the students of not only Sancta Maria High School, Omoku but also those of Baptist High School and Stella Maris College, Port Harcourt respectively.
The National President noted that Izeogu died at a time when he was needed most for his expertise advice and mentorship, and enjoined members of the family to bear the irreparable loss while taking solace in God Almighty as he lived a memorable life worthy of emulation.
