Kida Sure To Start B’ball League In 2021
President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr. Musa Kida has stated that he is hopeful of active basketball across all tiers of the Nigeria Basketball league in the year 2021 as the year 2020 gradually winds up following the inactivity largely induced by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kida, speaking in a chat with Tidesports source restates his commitment to the smooth running of the Nigeria Basketball Federation and also pray that he hopes the Federation gets a favourable ruling that will allow the NBBF run the Men’s Basketball league which has been off for the last two seasons.
“In 2021, we will continue with our local leagues. From the men we have divisions 1and 2 that will continue in earnest. We also understand clearly because of Covid we couldn’t organise the woman league and we are hopeful the court will give a huge ruling in January as concerns efforts of others to stop us from hosting the Premier League.”
