Abia: APGA Warns Against Plans To Sabotage Congresses
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), claimed it has uncovered illegal meetings being convened by some members in Abia State with the intention to deceive unsuspecting members ahead of the party’s congress.
The party enjoined all APGA members who want to be part of the congresses at various levels in the state to wait and be at alert for the necessary directives from the national leadership of the great party, who is the only constituted authority to issue the guidelines for the said congresses.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Abia State chairman, Reverend Augustine Ehiemere and Secretary, Elder Sunday Onukwubiri, on Monday.
The statement, however, warned that any illegal and unauthorized meeting or meetings in the state without the consent, approval and confirmation of the State Working Committee shall attract severe consequence in line with the party constitution.
