Navy Decorates Newly-Promoted Officers In Yenagoa
The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Saidu Garba, has asked the command’s newly-promoted officers to provide motivational leadership for all to emulate.
Garba said this while decorating the promoted officers with their new ranks yesterday at Yenagoa.
The Tide reports that all the six officers were promoted from Master Warrant Officers to the rank of Navy Warrant Officer, which is the highest rank for ratings.
The Officers promoted are Navy Warrant Officers, Musa Ali, Umoren Isaw, Okon Ewa, Idris Abubakar, Edward Isifanus and Nwodi Ochuko.
Garba reminded them that with their promotion, they had been saddled with more responsibilities, adding that they should carry out their duties diligently.
He urged those who were not promoted to take it in good faith because promotion came from God.
He consoled them to believe that their own promotion would surely come.
