Faculties’ Relocation: RSU VC Storms Ahoada Campus
In a bid to comply with the Governor Nyesom Wike’s directive that two faculties of the state University, Humanities and Social Sciences be moved to Ahoada East Local Government Area, the Vice Chancellor of the Rivers State University (RSU), Prof. Blessing Chimezie Didia has visited the abandoned site of the Ahoada Campus with a view to complying with the governor’s directive.
Speaking after inspecting the state of projects in the area, last Thursday, Prof. Didia said the proposed Ahoada Campus would take-off at the renovated Ahoada County High School, pending the completion of the campus’ permanent site.
He lauded the robust educational policies of the present government in the state, adding that the state government has provided the enabling environment that promoted qualitative teaching and learning in the state.
The RSU vice chancellor averred that the governor has made huge investment in the education sector in the state, adding that the Rivers State University has benefited immensely from the governor’s educational support.
He assured that his administration would ensure the realisation and smooth take off of Ahoada campus in line with the directive of the state governor.
