2019: LG Boss To Mobilise Groups For Wike
The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, Rev Francis Ada Ebenezer has assured that the council will partner with PDP Ex-Councillors Forum and the Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM) to mobilise the people at the grassroots to continue to support the party and return the Governor Nyesom Wike to the Brike House.
Rev Ebenezer gave the assurance when the groups visited him in his office at Ogu, headquarters of the local government area.
The council boss advised the groups to approach their tasks with vigour even though there was no opposing political party to the PDP in the area.
He assured that Ogu/Bolo was solidly behind the re-election of Governor Nyesom Wike because of his track records of developmental projects, adding that the people of the LGA were already enjoying the dividends of democracy.
Rev Ebenezer also enjoined them to sensitize the people on the need for cleanliness in the various wards as Governor Wike has passion for cleanness and promised to build another befitting legislative chamber to replace the former one which was burnt down.
The CTC chairman re-assured that his doors were opened at any given time as no one has monopoly of knowledge and thanked them for the visit.
Earlier in their separate speeches, the Co-ordinator of PDP Ex-Councillors Forum, Hon Fiberesima Minaseichinbo, the local government representative of WSM at the state, Hon Gilbert Enos and the Ogu/Bolo Co-ordinator of WSM, Chief Bapakaye Orabere commended the CTC chairman for giving the council secretariat a face-lift, restoring electricity to Ogu town within his short period in office.
They highlighted their missions and appealed for assistance to carry out their tasks for the victory of the party both at the state and the local government area and thanked him for the warm receptions accorded them.
