New FAAN’s Directors Assume Office
New Directors have been appointed to take over key positions at the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) headquarters.
The new directors are Engineer Salisu Daura who takes over as the director in-charge of Engineering Services, Captain Rabiu Yadudu, takes over as the director of Airport Operations while Group Captain Usman Sadiq (rtd) is now the director of security services.
A statement from the Corporate Communications Department of FAAN, made available to The Tide explained that the three new directors are seasoned professionals in their respective fields of specialties.
According to the statement Daura is a trained electrical engineer and a manager, and possesses over 30 years post-qualification experience in Airport Electrical Engineering Practice.
He has had an extensive work experience in project planning, designing and execution, coupled with contract management on airport engineering.
Also, Captain Yadudu according to the statement is a seasoned Aviator with considerable experience in domestic, regional and inter/transcontinental scheduled passenger.
He holds a current Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority’s (NCAA) and FAAN licenses as captain in command on the Boeing 747,200/300, LearJet 45XR.
Group Captain Sadiq is a seasoned intelligence technocrat with versatile knowledge in military operations and an experienced administrator.
All the newly appointed directors have resumed work at the FAAN headquarters at Ikeja, Lagos State.
