FAAN To Partner Investors On Sector
The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said that it is willing to partner genuine private investors towards a mutually beneficial relationship in the development of the aviation sector in Nigeria.
Managing Director of the authority, Engineer Saleh Dunoma, who made the disclosure at an Aviation business summit in Abuja, said that terminal expansion is key to maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
He said that, through partnership with genuine private investors, there will be an improved airport users experience that will drive the needed development.
Dunoma, who was represented by the authority’s acting Director of Commercial and Business Development, Toyin Okpaise said that, the sector is therefore strategic in the Federal Government’s quest to diversify the economy and create wealth and prosperity for the teeming population.
Speaking earlier, the organizer of the Summit, Fortune Idu, commended FAAN for expanding the business horizon and called on participants to take advantage of the summit to network and share ideas.
He also used the occasion to urge staff of FAAN and other sister agencies in aviation to rededicate themselves to their duties for the growth and success of the organization.
“You must make sure that you work for what you are paid for, this is the job that makes you not only happy but makes you relevant to your family.
“I appreciate those who put all their energy in their jobs, those who take their jobs seriously and understand what they are called to do and do all things with the fear of God”, he said.
