Zilly Aggrey Flays Obama On Gay Marriage
A renowned Cleric, Apostle Zilly Aggrey, has flayed the President of the United States of America, President Barack Obama, over his consent to the gay marriage phenomenon.
Apostle Zilly Aggrey, who is the General Overseer of the Royal House of Grace International Church, made his stance clear on the gay marriage controversy during a chat with newsmen in his office recently.
The cleric described gay marriage as an assault to humanity stating that the popular clamour by Americans to legalise gay marriage was an institutional conspiracy bent to stigmatize the first black President of the United States.
He cautioned the American President to resist the urge and seek God’s intervention on the matter. The man of God declared that the United States as a highly civilized and evangelized nation should not in the name of testing the potency of the law undermine devine injunction, and called for a retraction from the worldly and demonic order.
Apostle Zilly Aggrey also frowned at the global persecution of Christians, and urged the universal church to remain steadfast in the face of such persecutions and seek the intervention of God at all times.
The man of God, who is the chairman of Christain Association of Nigeria, Rivers State Chapter, assured that the Association would remain focused and not loose touch with its fundamental objectives.
Apostle Aggrey also frowned at the bickering over 100 days in office assessment of political office holders, noting that 100 days are not enough for such assessment. He said they should be given at least 24 mouths to assess their strict implementation of the budget.
