The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) says the Federal Government is losing N5 billion daily due to the gridlocks on the access roads around Lagos Ports.
The National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Dr Kayode Farinto who disclosed this at a news conference in Lagos recently attributed the continues gridlock to indiscriminate parking of tankers which has resulted to the blocking of the highways.

According to him, the various Port users including the Apapa residents have continued to experience untold hardships as a result of the gridlocks and that it had been having negative effect on the economy of the nation’s as well as business activities within and outside the ports’ environment.
