Ten Ships To Berth At Rivers Port
Ten ships laden with
various goods are expected to berth at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Rivers Port.
An NPA Daily Shipping Position made available to The Tide correspondent in Port Harcourt yesterday has it that two of the ships, MV Pamyat Kirova and MV Cassiopea are to sail in with frozen fish while MV Lark and MV Volme are with rice products.
The Tide also gathered that three of the vessels are carrying Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), and they include MT Breakthrough, MT Strider and MT Blue River.
The statement indicated that a vessel with bulk cement, MV Peregrine is also expected to berth from yesterday as well as MT Diddi that is ladden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
Our correspondent further gathered that MT Biskra with Super maritime as their agent is laden with Bitumen and also expected to berth before the weekend.
It was learnt that MV Marietta is awaiting at the fairway buoy, while MV Bold Voyager, MV Summer Flower and MV Elenim were ships on berth at the Port as at the time of filing in this report.
