Olumba Urges Prayer Against Military Take-Over, War
The spiritual Head and
leader of the, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has urged his adherents and Nigerians to pray fervently to God to avert military take – over and war in the country.
He made the call last weekend during a worship service when he called on his teeming faithful to go on a street procession, singing and praying for peace.
The respected religious leader also predicted that only the unexpected candidates would win the general elections slated to hold next month in the country.
“Brethren should go on ‘outing’. The ‘outing’ is for us to beseech God to allow peace to prevail in Nigeria, and so that there will be nothing like military take-over or war.
“Let me also add that during the elections only the unexpected will be victorious,” Obu said.
