Bush Meat Seller Hails RSG Over Ebola Control
A popular bush meat
seller in Port Harcourt, Mr. David Iheanacho has hailed the Rivers State governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi for efforts put in place in fighting the Ebola scourge in the state.
Iheanacho, who operates a palmwine drinking place in the Diobu area of Port Harcourt said while speaking to our correspondent, Saturday, that since the Ebola scourge was brought under control in the state, his business has bounced back to life.
According to him, his business can never strive without bush meat even as he said with the outbreak of the Ebola virus he lost more than three quarters of his customers .
He said majority of his customers were used to taking palmwine with bush meat either roasted or cooked.
While urging the government to put more efforts in stamping out the Ebola disease out of the state, he also called on people who engage in the kind of his business to observe all the sanitary conditions given by the appropriate authorities in ensuring that their environment was properly sanitised.
