Gambian Airlines Commences Operations In Nigeria
To boost flights between
Nigeria and Gambia two African countries with growing economic relationship, Gambian Bird has commenced flights from Banjul to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos from March 30, 2014.
Speaking to newsmen in Lagos, recently the commercial Manager, Gambia Bird, Mrs Sodieri Osei-Bonsu, said that the airline has come to Nigeria to tap into the market in airline travel by offering the Nigerian public value for their money.
Mrs Bonsu said that the airline will be flying in and out of Nigeria, “we have a good support system from our parent company, Germania Group,” noting that with the structure of the Gambia Bird, Nigerian travelling public are bound to have seamless travel experiences.
“We know your time is valuable whether you are travelling on business or for pleasure you can be sure that we will always do everything possible to get you to your destination on time,” she said.
The commercial manager stressed that the airline is affordable with a good qualitative service to its customers as well as the reliability of the airlines to the numerous flying passengers across the West African sub-region.
The Gambia Bird commercial manager further noted that the airlines has a lot of aircraft in its fleet ranging from Airbus A319, Boeing 757 among others, adding that coming to Nigeria was to further expand the airline’s operation in the West African sub-region.
She said “one of the things that keeps us going as an airline is our reliability; that is something that we do well. We give our customers value for their money. We offer fares that are competitive. “
Above all, we are reliable, travelling with us on Gambia Bird is convenience and we are consistent in delivering qualitative service to all our customers.
Nigeria is a new market and we hope that we are going to break even and that make the Nigerian travelling publics have a wonderful time and experience while travelling with us said Mrs Bonsu.
