Oshiomhole Confirms Agbebaku As AAU VC

Oshiomhole of Edo State has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Cordelia Agbebaku as the Vice-Chancellor, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
Oshiomhole announced the confirmation in Benin when he received elders and traditional rulers of Esan, led by the Onojie of Opoji, Ehidiamen Okosun, in his office.
He said that the decision to confirm Agbebaku’s appointment followed her proven competence in the course of her acting in the capacity as Vice Chancellor of the institution.
He said that Agbebaku who had been in acting capacity since May 2011 had moved the institution forward.
The governor said that Agbebaku maintained a smooth academic calendar throughout the period of her acting capacity.
Before her appointment as the acting Vice Chancellor, Agbabaku was the Dean of the institution’s Faculty of Law.
She took over from Prof. Sam Unuamikogbo.
