Institute Graduates 33 Students
A Theological Institute, Practical Ministerial College (PMC) owned by Arm of Warriors of Christ International Church, has graduated 33 students in diploma certificates.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony held at the church auditorium, in Port Harcourt, Sunday, the Rector of the institute, who is also the General Overseer of the church, Rev John Richard while administering an oath of allegiance of charged the graduands to be obedient to their calling as well as be a true ambassadors of the institute.
Rev. Richard while giving the account of the college said, the institute in 2011 graduated over 25 persons adding that the college has all it takes to train people both in religious and social studies.
The Principal of the College, Dr Emma Onuoha in his address said the students were given the best training that would equip them to do the work of God successfully adding that the students were drilled through series of practical courses and wished them well in their chosen career.
Earlier in his speech, the guest speaker, Rev. G.M Idogo, from Ondo State advised the graduands to shun all forms of negative tendencies capable of bringing shame to their calling adding that, “to whom much is given, much is expected from him.”
The man of God who took his Bible reading from the Book of 2 Timothy 4 vers 1-7, urged them to be great preachers of the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ by being focused and steadfast noting that the calling in Christ is always associated with many challenges.
His word, “I therefore, charge you to be apostle, healers, raise the dead, preach the word of God, fight a good fight of faith and be strong in the Lord.”
One of the graduands, Bro cyracus Mathew who spoke to journalists expressed his appreciation and thanks to the Almighty God for the opportunity to finish the programme and promised to impact humanity with the knowledge he acquired from the college.
