RSSDA Undergraduate Scholarship Aptitude Test Holds Saturday
The aptitude test for the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) 2013/2014 Under Graduate Scholarship would hold Saturday at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nkpolu, near Port Harcourt.
A statement by the agency yesterday indicates that a help desk has been set up at the ICT Centre of the University to attend to candidates with issues such as non receipt of exam time or exam and seat numbers.
According to the statement, the help desk is open from Thursday 21st February to Friday 22nd February from 9am each day.
The statement added that the whole scholarship process would be free, open and transparent, add advise candidate not to pay money to anybody for anything.
The agency further advised the public to disregard any information to the contrary.
Meanwhile, the management of RSSDA has raised alarm over alleged impersonation of the agency by fraudsters.
In a statement yesterday, the agency said,It has come to our notice that some persons who claim to represent the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency, RSSDA are going around asking candidates for the aptitude test for 2013/2014 RSSDA undergraduate Scholarship to pay certain amount of money to secure them a pass, and ultimately the scholarship.
“For the avoidance of doubt, we want our candidates and their parents or guardians to know that our scholarship programmes, including the aptitude test scheduled for Saturday, 23rd February, 2013, are absolutely free.
Anybody who parades himself as representing RSSDA, and is asking for money is a fraudster, and should be arrested and handed over to the police”, the agency stated.
