Man Docked For Stealing Bus
A 32-year-old, Abdul Mustapha, was on Monday docked at an Ebute Metta Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for alledgedly stealing a bus worth N800,000.
The prosecutor, Insp. Samuel Omoyemi, told the court that Mustapha stole the Mitsubishi L300 bus, property of Mr Bartholomew Ukpabia at 6 Akure St, Ajegunle, Lagos, on February 6.
Omoyemi said the offence contravened Sections 516, 390 (9) (10) Cap 17 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State 2003.
Mustapha, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.
Magistrate Oluwakemi Doja-Ojo, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties.
The case was adjourned till January 9, 2012.
