Dolphins FC Thrashes Bukola 2-1

Ndu-Amadi and Uche Oguchi’s 3rd and 63rd minute goals respectively ended Bukola Babes’ FC unbeaten run at Port Harcourt Liberation Stadium, over the weekend.
With the 2-0 victory over Bukola Babes, Dolphins still maintain the lead on the Nigeria Premier League table, with 36 points, having played 16 matches, win 12 and lost 4.
Derrick Ndu-Amadi utilised the first opportunity at the 3rd minute into the game.
While Oguchi converted a spot kick at the 63rd minute after the visitor’s defender obstructed the ball with his hand in the 18 yard box.
The match which was full of tension and caution saw the visitors played more tactical football and mounted pressure on their host after the two goals, but all did not yield a fruit as Dolphins contained the pressure.
Speaking shortly after the match, the team manager of Dolphins FC, Stanley Eguma expressed joy over the victory, saying that football is on the pitch not on the pages of newspapers.
“I am particularly very happy with the victory because Bukola Babes have the confidence to run away with a point to maintain their unbeaten runs”, Eguma said.
The team manager use the forum to advised his playe to continue their good performance as they will take on 3SC of Ibadan this weekend.
“What I will tell my players is to maintain their standard of play, especially as we are going to face 3SC of Ibadan this weekend”, he stated.
