NLC Backs Single Vote Campaign
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Edo chapter, said it supported the one-man-vote campaign of Governor Adams Oshiomhole, because it was in line with the electoral reforms contained in Justice Mohammed Uwais’ report.
The state government plans to launch the campaign on April 29.
The state Chairman of NLC, Mr Kaduna Eboigbodin, told newsmen in Benin that the NLC keyed into the campaign because it was the only way to choose good and effective leaders.
Eboigbodin, who is a member of the planning committee, urged workers to attend the rally and support the campaign.
