FAAN To Begin Pension Verification Dec
The management of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced that the 2009 pension verification exercise for Port Harcourt international Airport, Omagwa will commence in December.
In a statement signed by the Assistant General Manager, Public Affairs, FAAN, Port Harcourt Airport Mr. V. C. Arisa, it requested all pensioners in the payroll of federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Port Harcourt to attend the verification exercise which will commence on December 1, 2009 at the airport premises.
The statement which was dated 25th November further advised pensioners to come for the exercise with their appointment letters, letters of retirement, and other relevant documents that would identify them as pensioners.
Mr Arisa in the statement enjoined all to comply with the directive toward omission and complexity, adding that the verification is an annually exercise for pensioners.
