RSG Names UBE Board

The Rivers State Government has approved a new board for the state Universal Basic Education (UBE).

This was contained in a statement made available to The Tide on Thursday in Port Harcourt.

The statement signed by the Acting Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Blessing Wikina said that the Rivers State Governor Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has approved the reconstitution of a new board for the Rivers State Universal Basic Education.

The statement gave the names of the new board members as, Mr Ali Oruitemeka, chairman, while Dominic Pianen and Lucky Worlu are members.

Others are Clinton Tolofari, Fred Tariah, Mr G. R. Abere and Moses Adiela.

The rest are Mrs Mina Allison, Mrs N. P. P. Nwanikpo and Mrs Nenda Anwuri.

It further said that the new board would be officially inaugurated today by the state governor Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi at the executive chambers of Government House, Port Harcourt.
