General Manager of Nigeria National League side, Crown FC, Kunle Oyeleye, has revealed the readiness of club owners in the nation’s second tier league in Nigeria to have football return at that level of league football after over a year of football already in the NNL.
Oyeleye while speaking in a chat with Tidesports source said the NNL has its Annual General Assembly scheduled for this coming weekend of 16th January 2020 in Ebonyi State where the final deliberations regarding the commence-ment of the upcoming season and draws for the new season will be conducted. He added that the NNL is then expec-ted to start the following weekend.
“We’re looking at 25th January, we’re going for Annual General Meeting this weekend so after the AGM and Congress, we will come out with draws, then, the league will continue and it’s expected by the following weekend. We are good to go considering the fact that the league is long expected and long awaited. We are set,” he said.
