NWFL Appoints New Women Amateur League Coordinator
The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced one of its board members, Joe Amene, as the General Coordinator for the NWFL Amateur League competition.
The chairperson of the board, Aisha Falode, disclosed this at the weekend in Lagos, which states that, Joe Amene, is the best man for the job, considering his wealth of experience in high level football administration.
This was carried in a press release made available to Tidesports, Friday by the NWFL Media.
“Joe Amene, is tested and trusted to deliver the goods in the Women Amateur League competition which would see amateur clubs from across Nigeria participating.
“The NWFL board don’t have any doubt that Joe Amene will perform according to expectations.”
According to the release, the NWFL Board, also states that the 2020 Nigeria Women Amateur League will hold from January 20th to 27th, 2020.
It further noted that the deadline for registration of participating clubs in the Zonal competition is Wednesday this week.
The registration fees have been fixed for N100,000 per club.
