Group Tasks Nigerian Leaders On Good Governance
A Christian non-denominational organisation: Endtime Prophetic Prayer Network (EPPN) has called on Nigerian leaders to put the interest of the masses above personal interest.
National Coordinator of the organisation, Bishop Godswill E.D. Jumbo, who said this at the Network annual thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt said Nigerian masses are yearnings for good governance in order to improve their conditions.
The clergyman also called on Nigerians irrespective of religious affiliations to offer more prayers for the nation to recover from its current economic and security challenge.
He said the group would continue to mobilise Nigerians to pray for the country “our aim is to pray for the people, especially those in Rivers State.
Also speaking, Evang Ebiri A. Pepple of Bethesda Faith Ministry, Port Harcourt, described thanksgiving service as an integral part of Christianity.
“Thanksgiving is not seasonal, it ought to be celebrated everyday because each day we received from the lord, let us learn to get to the originally of the term Christmas”, he said.
“Also speaking Dr E.O.Ibeh of Peace of God Kingdom Church admonished Christians against being worldly as the Kingdom of God is near.
“If you are indeed a Christian, your perspective on moral conducts should be outstanding, you cannot give what you do not have”, he said.
