CP Tasks Promoted Officers On Enhanced Productivity
The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Ahmed Abdurrahman, has urged seven newly decorated police officers to redouble their efforts in crime fighting and prevention in the state.
Our correspondent reports that the commissioner on Monday decorated seven officers recently promoted by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Decorating the officers at the State Police Headquarters in Enugu, Abdurrahman said that the command was blessed to have seven Superintendents of Police (SPs) elevated to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs).
He said that the Command was grateful to the Inspector-General of Police (I-G), Mr Mohammed Adamu, and PSC for the promotion and recognising the efforts of the officers.
According to him, among the decorated officers is the Command’s Police Public Relations officer, CSP Ebere Amaraizu.
“The Command is blessed to have seven new CSPs today, who have gone through proper decoration to their new ranks.
“These officers have shown commitment and dedication to the job and the command’s mandate to fighting crime in Enugu State,’’ he said.
The commissioner urged the decorated officers to keep the flag flying and ensure they redoubled their efforts.
“Promotion does not come from man but from God and I hope you redouble your efforts to appreciate what the Almighty God had done for you,’’ he said.
Amaraizu, who spoke on behalf of the other officers, thanked the I-G, the PSC and commissioner for making the promotion possible.
