Banigo Felicitates With Nigerians At 59
As the nation celebrates its 59th Independence Anniversary, Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has urged Nigerians to strengthen the ties that link us together as a people.
Dr. Banigo stated this in a goodwill message from the Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday to felicitate with the Nigerian people to commemorate our Independence.
The Deputy Governor said ”Nigerians have been divided along ethnic, political and religious lines for too long, we must intentionally put an end to these divisive tendencies if we must move forward as a nation”.
She expressed the hope that Nigeria will be great again and urged young Nigerians whom she described as our future hope, to work hard, think outside the box and be innovative in order to succeed.
Dr. Banigo urged all well-meaning Rivers people to continue to support Governor Nyesom Wike led Government in his quest to develop the State.
