Body Pledges Total Commitment To PDP, Atiku
A political pressure group under the aegis of Atiku Ambassadors Worldwide, Rivers State chapter, has pledged its total commitment to the victory of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come 2019.
The state co-ordinator of the group, Engr Emmanuel Idoniboye who made the pledge during the inauguration of its Port Harcourt chapter recently said they are envisioning total victory for all candidates of the party from the local governments, state and at the federal level, hence the need for aggressive grassroot mobilization. Idoniboye opined that with all hands on deck, they would achieve their goal, adding that the group was committed to the total victory of its candidates come 2019 polls.
“We pledge to through instrumentality of our membership across the state and our collective decision to work for the success of the party in the state to ensure total and comprehensive victory for the PDP”, he said
Idoniboye noted they have seen Atiku’s performance in government and business and believe that with their collective efforts he would make Nigeria work again.
The state co-ordinator thanked all for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to discharge his duties creditably. Those inaugurated include Hon Goodluck Chinah Vice co-ordinator. Hon Ngozi Amadi, State Secretary;Hon Opuene Lilly-Tariah, Asst Secretary; Dr Amos Iruenabere, PRO; Mrs Blessing Nwankwo, Asst PRO; Rev John Jumbo, Youth Leader; and Wesley Gbimene, Asst Youth Leader. Others are Barr. Gloria Akor, women leader, Inyokpo Harry, Chief of Staff, and Sepribo Nimifa, press secretary to state coordinator
Highlight of the day was the inauguration of the Local Government Coordinators of the 23 LGAs.
