NDDC, Firm Move To Empower N’Delta Youth
In line with the vision of
the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to develop the region and also empower the youth, the commission in conjunction with Destiny Lottery Limited has initiated an empowerment programme to train and empower Niger Delta youth.
The Managing Director of the Destiny Lottery Limited, Mr. Ebi Chimezie, made this known to newsmen in his office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.
According to him, the partnership would allow Treasure Valley, a consulting firm, to manage the selection process for Niger Delta youth to register online for business empowerment.
He argued the youth to visit the website www.treasurevalley.com.ng and follow instructions for registration.
Chimezie advised the youth in the Niger Delta region to take advantage of the opportunity to become self employed and manage their own businesses.
He added that the partners were ready more than ever before to develop the youth in the region.
Chimezie challenged Niger Delta youth to always engage in useful businesses that promote peace and development rather than involving themselves in violence and anti-social activities.
It would be recalled that on 9th October, 2016, at RSUST Campus in Port Harcourt, Destiny Lottery Limited had empowered some youth to embark on businesses of their choice with over N5 million.
