Banigo Commiserates With Sen. Olaka Nwogu Over Father’s Demise
The Deputy Governor
of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, says the demise of late Chief Johnson Olaka Nwogu, father of Senator Olaka Nwogu, has left a big vacuum in Alesa, Eleme and Rivers State.
A statement by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Paul Damgbor, described late Chief Johnson Olaka Nwogu as a trusted community leader and family man who brought up his children with the fear of God.
Banigo said the late Nwogu presided over the affairs of Alesa, Eleme with fairness and justice to all, and has left a legacy for generations of Eleme people to emulate.
The deputy governor noted that late Chief Johnson Olaka Nwogu died at the time when his fatherly and leadership advice was most needed to equip his son to deliver quality service to his Senatorial District, Rivers State and Nigeria at large.
She, therefore, commiserated with Senator Olaka Johnson Nwogu, members of his family, the Alesa people and Rivers State over the death of late Chief Johnson Olaka nwogu, “EmereNda “Alesa, Eleme.
The deputy governor also prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
