Buhari Promises Greater Support For Agric
President
Mohammadu Buhari has promised that the government would continually protect the agricultural investments of the private sector.
He made this promise at the Kenya-Nigeria Business Forum held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi, Kanya during his three-day official visit to the Country.
According to The Tide source, President Buhari expressed confidence that the Nigerian-Kenya Business Council and the Kenya- Nigeria Agribusiness Forum would serve as platforms for the promotion of intra-African trade.
A member of the president’s delegation to Kenya who preferred anonymity, noted that the president has directed all ministries and parastatals in the agricultural space to co-ordinate their activities for improved effectiveness.
Buhari, who is current lyon Addis Ababa for the 26th summit of African Union Heads of State and Government departed Abuja on Wednesday.
