Spectranet Launches 4G Service In PH
Spectranet, a new Internet
Service Provider with 4G system has been launched in the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr David Venn, said spectranet was launched in Port Harcourt to provide unparalled speed for internet browers in an extraordinarily affordable way.
The CEO stated that Spectranet offers very reliable and fast broadband experience for the home, office and in the car, with a model that enables video, movie social media, on-line shopping and browsing in a 4G system for data only.
Answering questions on why Spectranet is unique and different from other internet providers, Venn said that the 4G system is faster than 3G, which is for data and voice, stressing that, you can access Spectranet anywhere that it is available. The CEO further explained that although Spectranet has just been launched in Port Harcourt, it has been operating in Nigeria for the past two years, noting that its market potential is huge.
Also speaking, Ambassador Patrick Dele Cole said, “the more information you have, the better you oganise yourself, saying there is a correlation between internet penetration and economic growth, insisting that Spectranet would improve the poor internet service in Rivers State.
He stated that it will positively impact the economy because it will showcase our government on the map and promote local goods and services.
Mr Ishmael Igbani, in his contribution, said Spectranet is ahead of other 3G-driven service providers because it is very fast.
In his remarks, the Deputy Managing Director, Mr Tasy Xiao, explained that the people of Rivers State will now get a better deal as Spectranet has been launched to provide better internet service for their money, saying those doing business in Rivers State will now heave a sigh of relief.
